The Hattie M. Wiggins Beacon of Light, Inc. fosters an environment to help artists, vocalists, and musicians to grow in their craft while providing entertainment within communities for Mental Health Awareness and advocacy programs. Mental Health and Music is one of those initiatives.

This project uses the arts in visual, dance, music, drama, and creative writing to help the healing process of the mental health issues that plague society from traumatic experiences.
Wellness retreat
This initiative provides a weekend retreat with integrated art, nutrition, and wellness self-care to provide motivation for beginning a holistic healthy lifestyle.
jacoby curry "Two-month saxophonist
Jacoby is a 28-year-old musician that plays the guitar, drums, keyboard, and saxophone. However, his favorite place to dwell is in the soothing balm of the majestic saxophone that creates a beautiful getaway for player and listener in the moment. Although, when you hear the musical peaks and sounds that come from it, you wouldn’t be able to tell that he learned to play his “golden girl” in only two short months. Jacoby plays a mashup of jazz, contemporary, pop, country, and R&B in such an empowering and soulful way, it will mesmerize and hypnotize you into an ocean of melodies that has become Jacoby’s life and adventure!

Nyron is a 24-year-old artist that’s anointed to play music. He grew up in the church playing the piano, keyboard, and drums. He uses his gifts to entertain ministries and his community. But Nyron’s drive to play came from the fact that music became his friend early on in life when he needed it the most. He recognizes it to be the conversation that will never end in his heart. Melodies from Heaven! So, join him as he takes you across the “seas of keys” in a lyrical and melodious journey.
